Paul Joseph Robinson (affectionately known as “Pauly”) of Pensacola Beach, FL., was called to Heaven on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the age of 57.

Paul was born April 12, 1963 in London Ontario, Canada and raised by his parents, Joe and Barbara Robinson. In 1977, the family moved to Pensacola, FL; and, the Robinsons quickly became an integral part of the community, establishing the thriving business of Gulf Tool Corporation. While attending Pensacola Junior College, Paul decided to take over the family business; and, he became President of Gulf Tool Corporation at a young age. He successfully ran and grew the business during his tenure, ensuring the livelihood of many employees/families.

Most important and dearest to Paul’s heart was spending quality time with family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, fishing, boating, traveling, and entertaining at his dream condo overlooking Little Sabine. He felt grateful and blessed to have lived a wonderful life.

Paul will be remembered most for his ‘bigger than life’ personality, jovial smile, positive mental attitude (“PMA”), compassionate and nurturing spirit, overwhelming generosity, whit, charm, strong faith, and karaoke skills. His zest for life was undeniable; and, he brightened up any room he walked into. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those fortunate enough to love and be loved by him.

Paul was a son, husband, father, and brother.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Clomer “Joe” Robinson.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Robinson of Pensacola FL; wife, Robyn Robinson of Pensacola Beach, FL; son, Paul J Robinson II of Pensacola, FL; step-daughters, Fallon and Skylar Kurpuis of Pensacola, FL; siblings, Dan Robinson (Donna) of Scottsdale, AR, Stephen Robinson of Apache Junction, AR and Teri J. Mechelke (Dr. Craig) of Gilbert, AR.

At a later date, post COVID, a Celebration of Life will be held.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Baptist Hospital healthcare team.
