Larry Joe Moss, 75, of Robinson, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, at Robinson Cemetery, 620 E. Stegall Road, Robinson, Texas. Larry will be available for viewing from 2 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.

Larry was born September 6, 1945, in Waco, Texas, to Howard and Nora Warren Moss. He worked at Brown and Root for 8 years. He ran Midway Texaco for 15 years and went on to run Robinson Texaco and Cloverleaf Texaco. Larry was a rural letter carrier for 30 ½ years in Mexia, TX. He married Kathy Thompson on June 25, 1966.

He was a member of the Hewitt Lions Club and loved working at their booth at the HOT Fair for many years. Larry was also a member of the Vegas or Bust Poker League. He worked Bingo at Geneva Hall in Elm Mott.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; father-n-law, Harry “Papa Fats”; and one niece.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Kathy Thompson Moss; his son, David Moss; sister, Wanda Moss; grandchildren, Madison Moss and Ava Moss; his mother-in-law, Dorothy “Nanny Fats” Thompson; brother-in-law, Steve Thompson; his best friends, Bob and Sheryl Dunlap; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
