Ms. Willie McLeod Jordan, 94, of Florence died on January 6, 2021. Ms. Jordan was born in Paxville, SC, daughter of Claude Robert McLeod and Minnie Geddings McLeod. Ms. Jordan loved animals, especially horses and her beloved dog, Maxie. She enjoyed being outdoors, and she could often be found sitting on her front porch. Up into her late 80’s, Ms. Jordan continued walking for exercise. Throughout her life, she also enjoyed horseback riding.
Ms. Jordan is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Preston “Pete” Chesley Jordan; one daughter, Ruby Jordan Dawkins; two sisters, Faye McLeod Edwards and Claudine McLeod Edgerton; and one brother, Earl Emmett McLeod.
