Margaret Barker, age 96, of Warrensburg passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.
She was born October 28, 1924 in Lincoln, MO the daughter of George W. and Bess (Wright) Wolfe.
On July 28, 1951, she and Clarence Barker were united in marriage in Warrensburg. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1992.
Margaret enjoyed volunteering at the Bargain Box for Western Missouri Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Evan (Donna) Barker of Warrensburg, Eric (Wendy) Barker of Warrensburg, Patricia Smith of Lansing, NY, and Linda Barker of Warrensburg. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister Marcella Winfrey.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Show-Me Christian Youth Home and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
