Barbara Ruth (Huddleston) O’Neal Haines, 95, passed away on January 2, 2021.  The daughter of William Harvey Huddleston and Rosa Lee (Lawrence) Gilbreath, Barbara was born on July 18, 1925 in Stuart, Oklahoma.   She attended St. James Catholic Church in Oklahoma City until her health prevented her from continuing in that capacity.   She was a direct descendant of an original enrollee of the Choctaw Tribe and was very proud of her Indian heritage.  She retired from FAA after 21 years 6 months and continued to work for FAA contractors for another 20 years.  She instilled in us an excellent work ethic, showing us how to reach our goals and enjoy life.  She was an excellent seamstress, making most of her own clothes over the years. She loved working crossword puzzles, going to the casino, and loved admiring her yard that Chuck transformed into a real piece of beauty – good enough to have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens. She was a very loving and giving person in her life, even when times were difficult. Her wit and humor will be missed by her family and the people that were blessed to have known her.

Barbara is survived by her children, Patricia Ann Marcotte and husband Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK, Barbara Jean Elcyzyn and husband Marion (Sonny) of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Anthony O’Neal and wife Rhonda Lou of Newalla, OK; Three stepchildren – Sally (David) Utley of Columbia, S. C., Marsha (Sam) Contrasto of Nokonis, FL., and Scott Haines of Orlando, FL.; Grandchildren -   Mark Allen Mayes, Michelle Ann Mayes Jones (David Crutchfield), Ronald Gregory Couch (Hope), Marion R.
