Brian Ernest Fisher has passed on January 1, 2021 from ALS. Born May 3, 1958, Halifax, he was the son of Patricia “Ruth” Fisher and the late Ernest Fisher. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bonnie (née Milbury) and his pride and joy: his two sons, Wesley and Mitch, both of Dartmouth. Also surviving are his brother David (Beverley), Halifax; Bruce (Michelle), Bedford; and, sister Patricia (Ron), Edmonton; nieces Marlow and Lila and nephew Warren; sister-in-law Janet (Youngs Cove); brother-in-law Dawson (Calgary); several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian was passionate about his long career as both a geologist and a GIS specialist, most recently serving as Director, Geological Survey Division for the Province of NS.
Cremation has taken place. At Brian’s request, a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
