Cabinetmaker Carl Reed, 78
Carl Reed 78, a retired cabinetmaker for the Dade County school system, died Tuesday at his Miami home. He came here 29 years ago from Springfield, Ohio and retired after 23 years with the school system. Mr. Reed was a member of the Central Baptist Church and Carpenter's Local 993.

He is survived by his wife M. Ruth, a daughter Mrs. Betty Fulton, two sons, Robert L. and Harry L., a sister, Mrs. Grace Kesler, three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Repose is 5 8 pm today at the Van Orsdel Northside Chapel.
