ARLENE JONES, age 94 of Otter Lake, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Bayshore Nursing and Rehab in Bay City. A private family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Otter Lake Historical Museum or to an educational charity of your choice. Arlene was born in Otter Lake, MI on October 20, 1926 to Floyd and Lenora Coe. Arlene lived in the Otter Lake area her entire life, where she was a member of the Otter Lake Literary Club, a Girl Scout leader, and a sunday school teacher. She enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles and spending time in nature. Arlene spent 35 years working in education, most of them in the North Branch Schools. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Maria (Michael) Melanson, Colleen (Winston) Cervantes, and Amber (John) Jacobson; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Jones; and brothers: Cliff Coe, Dalton (Laurene) Coe, and Clare Coe.
