Katie was born on September 28, 1930 in Robeson County to the late Angus Earl Chisholm and Katie Tolar Chisholm.
She was a faithful member of Faith Presbyterian Church and spent her time serving others by her card ministry, volunteer work at Scotland Memorial Hospital and Hospice. In addition to her service to others she loved reading, cooking, her dogs and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Weaver and her husband Jim of Laurinburg; her brother Angus Edwin “Ed” Chisholm of Rockingham; grandchildren, James Weaver and wife Molly, Melissa Herndon and husband Lance; and great grandchildren Emmaline Herndon, Granger Herndon and Thomas Wesley Weaver.
Services will be held at Graveside on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillside Memorial Park.
