Wilma Jean Marsh of Quitman, Texas passed away January 4, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born September 27, 1936 to Louis and Dorothy (Reed) Foley in Shelbyville, Indiana. Wilma married Earl Marsh on April 11, 1974 in Garland, Texas. She was of Methodist faith. Wilma loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She had a true passion for photography; taking and collecting pictures of her family. Wilma disliked saying, “goodbye”.
She is survived by her children, Susan Paulette Selleck and husband, Stuart of Arlington, Texas and Jeffrey Paul Ragsdale of North Richland Hills, Texas; step-children, Pamela K. Studenny and husband, Ron of Kaufman, Texas and Mark D. Marsh of Garland, Texas; grandsons, Josh Ragsdale, Ethan Ragsdale, Elliott Ragsdale, David Polston, Brian J. Dorris, Ronald Studenny, Greg Studenny and Alex Studenny; granddaughters, Katie Kubicek, Trina Evans, Jennifer Crosson and Kristin Ragsdale; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Mathis and husband, Buddy of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Marsh; brothers, Lowell Foley and Marvin Dale Foley; three infant sisters and one infant brother; grandson, Nathan D. Marsh.
In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Wilma’s obituary page by clicking on the following lhttps://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/wilma-jean-marsh. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.
However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Wilma and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service
