Joniece Boggs, 84, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on November 15, 2018. She was born on December 2, 1933, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late Ernest and Marjorie (Gantz) Angel. Jo was a 1952 graduate of Ashland High School and worked at Blacklick Machine, the family business, since 1973. She attended Newark Baptist Temple. She enjoyed sewing and made many costumes for her church's Easter cantata. She is survived by John M. Boggs, her loving husband of 65 years. She is also survived by her son, Jim of Reynoldsburg; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Christopher Jacobs of Blacklick; and granddaughters, Tabitha (Guillermo) Hernandez of Newburgh, Indiana, and Julie (Jack) Witt of Pataskala. Her sister, Janet Harwood of Florence, Kentucky, also survives. In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Debra Boggs and brothers Larry and Donald Angel. Family and friends may call Monday, November 19, 2018 from 9-11AM at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11AM by Pastor John Hayes. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Garden.
