Clinton Robert Miller (C.R.) 82, of Medford Lakes, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Samaritan Hospice Center in Voorhees. He was born on March 5, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Clinton L.and Ruth Miller. Clint honorably served as a Captain in the US Coast Guard Reserves from 1964-1984. He graduated from Lehigh University with a Degree in Economics and attended Glassboro State College where he earned a Masters Degree of Arts. Mr. Miller was superintendent of schools in the North Hanover Township School District, including McGuire Air Force Base for 29 years. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and going to the horse track. Clint helped thousands of recovering alcoholics while participating in AA meetings for 28 years.

Clinton is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Suzanne Miller; his sons Clinton R Miller, Jr. (Audra) and Gregory S Miller (Inbar); his grandchildren, Dylan Miller (Brittany) and Kira Miller; great-grandson, Declan Miller; his sister, Marilyn Caldwell (Bill); a niece Lynn Evans; and a nephew Billy Caldwell; and their spouses and children.

Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family. A committal service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 11:30 am, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Mathis Funeral Home in Medford, NJ.
