Deborah "Debbie" Sue Rodgers, 56, of Waverly, departed this world to rejoice with our Heavenly Father for eternity, Saturday, January 2, 7:18 a.m., 2021 at Adena Pike Medical Center.

She was born December 19, 1964 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Betty Jean Wright Keaton of Lucasville and the late Hammie Lee Keaton.

Debbie was a Deli worker for Walmart in Waverly.

Debbie truly was an Angel on Earth. Her entire life, all she wanted was to give without thought of receiving. Not only did Debbie have a heart of gold, she had the soul of a Saint. She was the easiest person to talk to and the last person to tell your secrets. She was not only quick to forgive, but she was also quick to inspire.

She was also preceded in death by her companion of over 30 years and father of her children, Mike Ramey.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Robert Rodgers whom she married June 18, 2010; two sons, Robert (Jessica) Keaton of Beaver and Michael Ramey of Waverly; one daughter, Jessica (Randall) Russell of Lucasville; four grandchildren, Jayden, Gracie, Rylee, and Weston; her brother, Kenny Keaton of Hillsboro; and her sister, Joann Taylor of Hillsboro.

Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 in Harger Cemetery with Bud Mefford officiating. Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.

By all who knew her, she will be sorely missed. We love you, our Angel in Heaven.
