Arthur Lee Cook, Sr., age 90, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021. He was born January 8, 1930 in Okaloosa County, FL. Before retiring, Arthur was a building contractor. He trusted Christ as his Savior and was a member of Calvary Way Full Gospel Church where he actively served in many ministries through the years including choir, church board, Sunday School Superintendent, bus ministry and maintenance. He was also a member of Ensley Masonic Lodge #278 (Past Master) and Order of the Eastern Star #244 (Past Patron, 7 times). Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Hazel, sons, Kenneth (Rosemary) Cook, Lee Cook (Deborah), daughters, Kathryn Spangler, Vivian (Stan) Merideth, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Willie E. and Iva Pearl Cook, 2 brothers and 5 sisters and their spouses.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. An Eastern Star service will be at 11:00 a.m., family will receive friends at 11:15 a.m with funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Malcolm Thomas officiating. Internment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Stan Merideth, David Merideth, Stephen Merideth, Seth Merideth, Bubba Tatum, Jimmy Tatum
