Gloria M. Holmquist, age 89, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021.

She was born January 12, 1931 in Joliet and was a graduate of Joliet Township High School, Class of 1950. She worked at W.T. Grants and Milano Bakery.

Gloria was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a lifelong Cubs fan.

Survived by a daughter Judy (John) Skiniotes of New Lenox. Three grandchildren Nicole (Anthony) Vlahovic, Melanie (Zack) Davy and Christopher Skiniotes. A great granddaughter Leah Vlahovic. Her sister Doris (Roger) Snyder of St. George, UT and sister-in-law Phyllis Holmquist of Joliet. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Gordon D. Holmquist (2011), her parents Frank and Mabel Cary and two brothers Frank Cary and Roger Cary.

Private family services will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
