Gayle proudly served his country during Vietnam as a member of the United States Army. He was a lifelong resident of the Sheridan and Stanton area and was retired from General Motors.
Surviving Gayle is his wife, Johanne; daughters, Melissa (Tim) Donley; Stacey (Randy) Baker; Penny (Nihim) Irish; Lori (Wayne) Sowles; son, Tony (Arya) Jenks; brothers, Allen (Linda) Jenks; Arlen Jenks (Jane Wittkopp); Dean (Pat) Jenks; Dan (Susie) Jenks; Greg (Louise) Jenks; Kevin (Nancy) Jenks; many grandchildren; and his former wife, Maro Jenks.
Gayle was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Lois (Rockafellow) Jenks and two sisters.
In honoring Gayle's wishes no formal funeral ceremony will be held.
