NUTTER FORT, W.Va.- On January 2nd, 2021 Angela “Angie” Elder, age 50, was called home to her final resting place.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on August 22,1970.
She was a loving mother and grandmother with a huge heart, whose endless capacity for caring for others was matched only by her generosity. She was a graduate of the Liberty High School class of 1989 and had a love for teaching in her heart. She received her teaching degree from Fairmont State University. The only thing she loved more than her time as a teacher was being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her parents, Margie and Virgil Matheny; two children, Matt Griffin and wife, Katelyn and Kaneesha Elder; four grandchildren, Reagan, Kaden, Jensynn and Ryleigh; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaiden Elder.
