Martha Lue Scudder, 95, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Monday, January 4, 2021. Martha was born in Grove, Oklahoma, on November 30, 1925, to Sterling Pollan and Arizona (Kelley) Pollan.
Following her graduation from High School, she went into the banking business. After many years of banking, Martha became the Treasurer of the Sand Springs United Methodist Church. She was at this job for many years.
She was married to Richard Scudder in Sand Springs, on August 2, 1954. They were able to have 45 plus years together prior to his death in 1999. Martha was very out-going, and it seemed as if she knew everyone in The Gardens, her home for the past five years. She was a very faithful and dedicated member of the United Methodist Church. Martha’s radiant smile and beautiful attitude will be missed by both family and friends.
Preceding Martha in death was her parents Sterling and Arizona Pollan; husband Richard Scudder, and several siblings.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and many church family and other friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Visitation for Martha will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021, from 12 noon until 8pm at the Funeral Home. Graveside services for Martha will be Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 10am, in the Woodland Memorial Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
