Teresa Ann Shuford / Reid Griffin, 62, of Newton passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1958 in Iredell County to the late George Shuford and to Idell Reid White of Sherrills Ford. Teresa was employed with Broyhill Furniture for 30 years, and then with Hickory Chair for 6 years before her illness took her out of work. She was a hard-working woman who would give you the shirt off her back and was loved by many. She loved attending church and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Griffin; grandmother, Annie Mae Reid; grandson, Julian Barber and a few aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish her memory are:

A homegoing service to celebrate Teresa’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton, NC. Bishop TC Thompson will officiate.
Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Newton.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
