A mass of the resurrection for Mrs. J. HARRY CARR, a member of an old Southern Maryland family, will be offered tomorrow at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. Mrs. Carr died yesterday at the John L. Daton Medical Center after a long illness. She was 96.
The former Jennie Burch was born in Bryantown, Charles County, and moved to Baltimore at an Early age. She was a charter member of the Maryland Colonial Society and at one time an offcer in that organization. Her husband, a school furniture representative, died in 1931.
She is survived by two sons, Clinton D. Carr, of Baltimore, and E. william Carr, of Greensboro NC; a daughter, Mrs. Charles E. McCaffray, of Baltimore; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
