Douglas William Hallemeier, Sr., son of the late Rudolph William and Margaret (Selle) Hallemeier, was born on July 10, 1947 in Bogard, MO and departed this life on December 28, 2020 in Kansas City, MO. At the time of his passing he was 73 years, five months, and 17 days of age.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Margaret; his siter, Darla; and one grandson, Derek. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lorretta Fay (Jasper) of the home; his children, Mike & wife Kim Hallemeier, Ron & wife Georganne Hallemeier, Melissa & husband Rick Reth, and Doug, Jr. & wife Stacy Hallemeier; brothers and sisters, Virginia, Alvin, Ronnie, Robert, Dennis, Marilyn, and Doris; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves other family members and many friends who will all deeply miss him.
Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
