Richard Alan Welch, 68

HARRINGTON - Richard Alan Welch passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Richard was born in Milford, Del. the son of the late Clarence and Violet (Willey) Welch. He worked for Taylor Messick as a senior tractor mechanic for 47 years before retiring in 2019. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and bowling.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald J. Welch; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Welch.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Lee Bridges; a grandson, Austin Welch; and a granddaughter, Taylor Bridges; three brothers, Mike Welch, Steve Welch and his wife Polly and Gary Welch; and two sisters, Dawn Welch and Karen Welch.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
