Nancy Well Mitchell of Palestine was born to Lee Jones and Bernice Ruhl Jones.
She worked in retail at WalMart and had a very outspoken personality. The love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren, was evident and she always enjoyed celebrating their milestones. She was an animal lover at heart and enjoyed spoiling her cats. Her hobbies included golf and bowling.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jerry Mitchell.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughters, Doni McClelland (Thomas), Kori Wells; son, James Wells (Mickie); stepdaughter, Leah Clark; stepson, Jay Mitchell; grandchildren, Cason Wells, Avery Wells, Mersadie Franklin, Shannen McClelland, Conner Clark and Lauren Clark.
A funeral service will be in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. John Markham; interment will follow in Guiceland Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas.
