Clyde was born June 24, 1942 in Clarksville to Eather Wilson. He was educated in the Montgomery County School System and attended the historic Burt High School. At an early age, Clyde professed a belief in Jesus and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Clyde was married to Mary Rene’ Horton.
Clyde was gainfully employed at the Vulcan Corporation as a Press Operator and faithfully worked there for over 45 years, until his retirement in Summer of 2018.
He is preceded in death by his son Mark Anthony Wilson, his mother, his brother, Troy Lee Wilson Sr. and sister Bertha Louise Wilson.
Clyde, Sr. leaves to cherish his memories wife, Mary Rene’ Horton Wilson, Clarksville, TN; children, Clyde (Katrina) Wilson Jr, Columbia, SC, Toncya Sneed, Clarksville, TN, Paul Horton, Clarksville, TN, Lisa Wilson, Newport News, VA and Tomika (Gary) Darden, Cedar Hill, TN; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 Nephews, 1 niece and a host of family and friends.
