A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith.
She was born Feb. 2, 189\, in Saline County, to George and Ethel Nolan Edwards.
She married James A. Walker May 1, 1913, in Harrisburg. He died June 10, 1963.
Survivors include eight sons, Warren of Phoenix, Ariz., Dale of Marion, Max and George of Schiller Park, Jim of Bensenville, Kenneth of Melrose Park, Richard of Creal Springs and Bill of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Betty Muzyka and Barbara Pfeifer, both of Bensenville; 33 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Hazel Bowen, Harrisburg.
