Janice Ann Lamb of Knoxville, 67, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on January 2, 2021 at UT Medical Center with her children by her side. Janice was a beloved member of Union Baptist Church of Halls. Janice taught a Sunday school class and showed her love of music, as the church pianist, for over twenty years. Janice was a loving wife for 48 blessed years and a caretaker for all her days. She was retired from Brown and Willams as well as from Halls Elementary School Cafeteria. She spent many years in childcare, leading to caring for her in-laws and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Janice left a footprint on the heart of all that knew her. To know her was to love her. Preceded in death by father Joseph W. Romines, her God sent parents Alonzo and Cleo Grissom, brothers David Romines and Michael Grissom.
Survived by husband, Steve Lamb; children, Jeff Lamb(Heather), Jennifer Robbins (Houston); grandchildren, Cameron Lamb, Trevor Lamb, Greyson Lamb, and Barrett Robbins, Sister Brenda Endsley, special Sister in Law Cathy Grissom, several nieces and nephews. And special friend Cheryl Rutledge, along with a host of others. A call of convenience for Janice will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, 4131 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37938. Due to the health concerns surrounding Covid-19 a private funeral service will be held followed by a private graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Livestreaming of the funeral service will be on the Union Baptist Church Halls Facebook page at 6pm on Sunday evening.
