Thomas “Tom” W. Fisher, age 40, of Hillsdale, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home. Tom was born December 27, 1980 in Ann Arbor to Michael and Valarie (Ambs) Fisher. He married Joann Fast on July 14, 2007 and she survives.
Tom was the store manager at Auto Zone in Hillsdale. He attended Hanover Horton High School and graduated from Hillsdale High School. Tom was known as, “Mr. Fix It”. He was an avid car enthusiast currently working on restoring his 1970 Chevy Chevelle. He also had a hobby of working on model cars. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, snowmobiles and motorcycles. Tom was also a fisherman and enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving besides his wife Joann are two children, Jaiden Chevelle and Jace Thomas; two brothers, Michael Fisher of Adrian and Britten Fisher of Jackson and many cousins, nieces and nephews. There are also many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Joe, his grandparents and his uncle Gordon.

Funeral services for Tom Fisher will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at the Hillsdale Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dean Leininger officiating. Interment will follow at Cambria Cemetery #2. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday from 4-7 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Masks and social distancing are required.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for living expenses for Jaiden and Jace.
