Alice Louise Christmas, 86, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at her home.
Alice was born May 17, 1934 in Evansville to the late Lawrence and Vivian (Stiefel) Kuhlenschmidt. She was a homemaker; watched her grandchildren after school and in the summer for many years. She was a mother to more than just her own children. She loved her church and was a longtime, active member of Grace Church of the Nazarene, where she led a weekly Bible study and taught Sunday School for many years. Alice also led the local Nazarene missionary society for many years. She was a talented musician, played the organ, piano and flute and also sang. She taught piano lessons and played the organ for many weddings and funerals through the years. She enjoyed word puzzles of any kind.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald Christmas in 2001and by a grandson, Justin Christmas.
Funeral services for Alice will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Grace Church of the Nazarene, Pastor Brett Doninger officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
