Sandra G. Price 72, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare.
She was born on March 6, 1948 in Utica, the daughter of the late Arvon and Grace (Laribee) Price and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. Sandi was employed in Housekeeping with St. Elizabeth Medical Center for 22 years, until her retirement in 2014.
She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Sandi’s family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren. She cherished the times playing games with them and even was accused of cheating to win. Sandi enjoyed taking walks and in general just being outside. Her cats also played an important part in her life and she adored every minute with them.
Surviving are her daughter, Danelle (Scott) Trotta, NC; grandchildren, Cole and Bryce Trotta, NC; brother, Ken (Jason Duke) Price, LA and a special niece, Sheila (Rich) Scibor, Cassville. She was predeceased by, sisters, Judith Zammiello and Joan Fenton and brother, John Price.
Sandi’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Lisette Alfero-Berg, Dr. Apurva Shah and the staff at Faxton – St. Luke’s Healthcare for their wonderful care and compassion. A special thank you to Sandi’s niece, Sheila, who was always there for her no matter the circumstances.
