Melissa M. McClellan of Bristolville, OH passed away at her home on Thursday, April 16, 2015. She was born March 17, 1968, in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late Bob and Rosemary (Amato) Starr. Melissa and her husband, Robert were united into marriage on July 12, 1987, and have shared 27 years of marriage together. She was employed with the United States Postal Service for 17 years. Melissa enjoyed camping, music, playing cards, bingo and gardening, but above all, she loved spending time with her family, friends and most of all her granddaughter. Melissa will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert E. McClellan of Bristolville, OH; daughter, Amanda McClellan of Bristolville, OH; brother, Jay (Gina) Rigg of Bristolville, OH; sister, Stephanie Greathouse of Farmdale, OH; granddaughter, Addison McClellan; two nieces; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Derek McClellan. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20, 2015, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Rev. Rodger McClellan will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Melissa will be laid to rest in Sager Memorial Park, Bristolville, Ohio. The family requests that material contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street Youngstown, Ohio 44512, in her memory.
