Harold “Blue” “Brother” Adrain Phillips Sr. 83, of Alderson passed away January 2, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born April 16, 1937 at Alderson, he was a son of the late Clark Benjamin and Gladys Elizabeth Caraway Phillips. He was also preceded in death by his wife Velva Leona Dixon Phillips, two daughters, Debra Daye Phillips, and Jenifer Dianne Phillips Carter.

Harold was a Baptist by faith, and retired from Acme Limestone.

Harold is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Lea Phillips Lemons and husband Bill of Lewisburg, and Pamela Sue Phillips Ayers and husband John of Alderson, three sons, Harold “Rusty” A. Phillips Jr. and Heather, Michael Steven Phillips and wife Angela, and Joshua Carl Phillips and wife Amy all of Alderson, eighteen grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, a slew of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Fletcher Addition Alderson Cemetery in Alderson with Randy Burdette officiating.
