Rodney Lee Fields passed away on December 31, 2020 after stubbornly battling stage 4 colon cancer for over 10 months (stubborn was a common theme with Rodney).

Rodney was survived by his wife Kristy, his children Dalton, Tanner, Lyndy, and Joey, his mother Rowena, siblings Deborah and husband Randy, Russell and wife Cindy, Diane, the best man at his wedding Kim and husband Brett, Robert and wife Deborah, his grandchildren, and an entire herd of nieces and nephews who he loved like they were his own children.

Rodney was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Dusty, and his father Bill (who is probably already arguing with Rodney over something at a swap meet in Heaven).

Rodney loved his sheep, Mopar, and his family. He was extremely proud to be a Fields. The only people who didn't really like Rodney were probably pawn shop owners, because he took great joy in bargaining over everything. Rodney will leave behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that touched everyone who came into contact with him.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent. Burial will follow in the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery.
