Samuel W. Doty, 70, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lafayette Nichols, at College Corner. His condition had been serious since Wednesday. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lafayette Nichols, of College Corner, and Mrs. Ernest Rigby, of west of Portland; one son, Elmer Doty, of Portland; one brother and one sister.
The body was taken to the home of the daughter, Mrs. Ernest Rigby, at Detamore. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Portland U. B. Church, the Rev. J. H. Nall officiating. Burial will be made at Deerfield.
