Shirley (Bills) Glover, age 63 of Boone, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at home with family by her side.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 9, 2020 at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel in Boone. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 9, 2020 in the Dayton Cemetery.

Shirley (Bills) Glover was born to Chad and Shirley (Gilliland) Bills in Perry, Iowa on February 13, 1957. She attended Dayton School.

On March 2, 1974, Shirley was united in marriage with Ken Low in Dayton, Iowa, from this union she had one son, Shane. The couple later divorced. She married Virgil Glover Jr. in May of 1987; the couple later separated. She loved spending time with family and especially grandchildren.

Shirley was a stay-at-home mother until her son was grown. She then worked in factories and the latest she became a Home Care Aid for Lutheran Health Services out of Des Moines, Iowa, but had to quit due to health issues.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Chad in 2005 and Shirley in 2016; brother Jeff in 2014; two granddaughters, Amber Low in 2000 and Raven in 2012. She is survived by her son, Shane (Ocean) Low of Des Moines; grandchildren, Eric Thorup, Tyler Lambert, Cassie Elsberry, and Keegan Low; sister, Pat (Craig) Elsberry of Boone; brother, Dave (Vickie) Bills of Dayton; sister-in-law, Carol Jennings of Boone.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets. Online condolences may be left to Shirley’s family at www.schroedermemorialchapel.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Open Bible Church in Boone.
