Yvonne Clark Shelton passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the age of 83. She was the cherished wife of the late Vernon Shelton. Loving mother of Murphy Serignet, Michelle Gray (Wayne), Denise Trosclair (Matthew), Melissa Mayer (Eric) and the late Cecilia “Susie” Traylor and Shawn Camille Shelton. Sister of the late Teddy, Jeanette, Joe and Spike. Daughter of the late Joseph Indie and Maria Silva. Proud grandmother of M.J., Derrick, Rachel, Justin, Troy, Paula, Wayne Jr., Brandi, Austin, Kayla and Jessie. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and her furever friend, Gypsy.
Yvonne was born in Hawaii and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and caring deeply for others. Yvonne will always be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family, her caring and loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by us all. Funeral Services will be private.
