Lana B. Johnson, daughter of Beryl and Erlene (Walker) Perry, was born December 13, 1953 in Dodge City, Kansas where she grew up and graduated from high school. After graduation Lana attended cosmetology school and earned her beautician's license. As a young girl, Lana was baptized and attended the First Christian Church in Dodge City.

On March 31, 1973, Lana was united in marriage to Ronald "Lynn" Johnson in Dodge City, Kansas. They shared over 32 years of marriage together and were blessed with three children: Angie, Amy and Adam.

In her spare time, Lana enjoyed being outdoors taking care of animals or just relaxing while she was fishing. Lana was the happiest being a wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured the times that she spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Lana passed away early the morning of Monday, December 19, 2005 in the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri at the age of 52 years and 6 days.

Lana will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by her husband Ronald "Lynn" Johnson of the home; two daughters: Angie Johnson of Waynesville, MO and Amy Johnson of Newport Beach, CA; one son: Adam Johnson of Waynesville, MO; her parents: Beryl and Erlene Perry of Siloam Springs, AR; her Father and Mother-in-law: Loyal and Wanda Johnson of Dodge City, KS; one brother: Dallas Perry of Neosho, MO; one sister: Shereen West of Siloam Springs, AR; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lana was preceded in death by one nephew, Luke West.

A memorial service was held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2005 in the Memorial Chapel of Waynesville with Dr. Paul Miller officiating. The songs "My Heart Will Go On" and "A Mother's Prayer" were played. Interment followed in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Memorial Chapel of Waynesville/St. Robert.
