McConnelsville - Barbara A. Kirkpatrick, 87, of McConnelsville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born on April 25, 1933 in New Straitsville, Ohio to the late John and Marion Jones Foster.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children. She was a member of the McConnelsville Garden Club, Book Club, several Bridge Clubs, Kiwanis Key Club, Morgan High School Booster Club, the McConnelsville Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Revolution.

She is survived by 2 sons, Robinson (Heidi) Kirkpatrick of Stockport and Andrew Kirkpatrick of Zanesville, a daughter, Elizabeth (Russ) Guenther of Wadsworth, a brother, John Foster of Zanesville, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dr. Robinson Kirkpatrick and a great granddaughter, Gracie Bell Harmon.

A visitation will be held on Weds, Jan. 7, 2021 from 4-7 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A private service will be held on Thursday with burial following in the Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catholic Social Services 422 Main Street Zanesville, Ohio 43702.
