Jerry is survived by his wife of 50 years Janice Parker, daughters: Jameie Parker and Jessica Campbell (Wayne)
Granddaughter: Jordone Luker and great grandchild: Bentlee Luker
Sister: Secglynda Hollis, Brother: Donald Parker (Preceded in death by parents Mayfield and Mable Parker, brother MB Parker and grandson Colt Coggins. )
Jerry served in the US Army and retired after 35 years from US Steel.
He was a loving and devoted man to his family and friends. Throughout his cancer treatment and to his last day on earth he beat all the odds that the doctors gave him. He succeeded in achieving his goals this year, he would live to the end of the year he would: Celebrate 50 years of marriage to his wife Janice. Attend his granddaughters’ graduation from nursing school, his great grandson Bentlee’s 5th Birthday and celebrate Christmas with his family.
Jerry not only cared about his family but also his friends and was willing to do what he could to help or assist them when needed.
