One of God’s brightest stars is back in the heavens. On December 30, 2020, Jenny went to be with our God after battling cancer.

She was a fiercely independent woman who was a protector and giver to all. Jenny put everyone else before herself. She made a positive and loving impression on everyone she met as a teacher and a friend.

Jen is joyfully reunited in heaven with her daughter Alle and her grandparents. On earth with saddened hearts but joyful memories, she leaves behind her husband Scott; daughter Ella (Huntzinger); parents Jim and Karen Kemper; sister Kelly (Dan) Meyer; stepchildren Scott & Angel Simon; granddaughter Eliana; in-laws Mike and Joan Simon; sister-in-law Nicole (William) James; brother-in-law Matt (Keith Schumann) Simon as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and Family are welcome for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) at the Castillo Funeral Homes on Wednesday from 2 – 6 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 3 PM officiated by Pastor Steve Smithberger. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society.
