Rose S. Greer Formerly of Aberdeen died Friday, January 1 at Caraway Manor II in Elkton. She was 89.
Born in Germany she was the daughter of the late Johan & Katarina (Popp) Steiger and wife of the late Charles T. Greer who died in 2006.
Mrs. Greer retired from the PX at Aberdeen Proving Ground. A devote wife and mother, she was a member of the Aberdeen American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 128 and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her children; Thomas F. Greer and his wife Pam of Port Deposit, Charles J. Greer and wife Caroline of San Antonio, TX and Cathe M. Lynch and husband Larry of Middletown, DE; siblings, Hans, Lisle and Elsie and her seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Bakers Cemetery of Thursday, January 7 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the American Legion Post 128 Ladies Auxiliary.
