A graveside service for Mr. Jerry Lee Bowling, 74, from Oxford, will be Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Bynum. Dr. Stephen Anthony officiating.

The family will receive visitors on the same day from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm at Miller Funeral Home.

Mr. Bowling went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 1, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Glinda Wergin Bowling; daughter, Christy Wright (Randy), sister Penny Wallace (Terry), grandsons; Kobe Wright, Kyler Wright and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by parents; Gib and Mary Bowling and daughter Corie Bowling Butterworth.

Pallbearers will be members of the Maranatha Sunday School class from Hill Crest Baptist Church and friends.

Jerry served in the army for 4 years, during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Bronze Star, and had been a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church for the last 35 years. Jerry was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching the Crimson Tide play football. His joy in life was his two grandsons. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone who loved him.
