Obituary for Lisa Ann Collier

Lisa A. Collier, 61, of Anderson, passed away peacefully at home on January 1st, 2021, after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Lisa was born September 6, 1959, in Anderson, the daughter of Dr. Robert and Mary Stamper. After graduating from Anderson High School,

Lisa attended Indiana University where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

In better days, Lisa loved spending summer months with her family at the “cabin” in Lake of the Woods, Canada.

Fishing, hiking, being with her family, and enjoying everything nature had to offer was what made her happy.

In spite of all the adversity and challenges Lisa faced, she never lost her faith in God and always kept her positive outlook, gentle spirit, and sense of humor.

She will be deeply missed by friends and family but we know we have all been blessed by knowing her.

Lisa is survived by her beloved son, John R. Collier, Anderson, brother Greg Stamper, Anderson, and brother Steve Stamper (Laura), Green Castle, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Stamper, and her father Dr. Robert Stamper.
