Thomas Raymond Hodge, Jr., age 86, of Corryton, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Northfolk Railway after 47 years and was a 32° Mason with Burlington Lodge 763 F & AM.
Preceded in death by parents, Thomas R. and Dora Hodge; wife, Frances A. Hodge; brother, Bruce; sisters, Kate, Dixie and Nellie; son-in-law, Mike Foster; and brother-in-law, Paul Ramsey. Survived by wife, Bobbie (Wright) Hodge; children, Connie (Freddie) Chandler, Lorie (Donnie) Picklesimer, Ray (Patti) Hodge, Evelyn Foster, Teresa (Ty) Douglas; step-children, Woody, Sandra, Richard, Roger and Karen; grandsons, Todd (Stacy) Foster, Robbie (Kelly) Foster, Tim (Wendy) Hodge, and Adam (Allison) Hodge; granddaughters, Tracie (John) Sexton, Brandi (Steve) Moore, Tarrah (Lynn) Cameron, Holly (Tim) McCoy, Kristi Dotson, Marsha (Scott) Ward, Monica (Sean) Bailey, and Melissa Premo; step-grandsons, Wade, Andy and Logan; 14 great-grandsons; 13 great-granddaughters; great-great-grandson, Jase; sisters, Barbara (Freddie) Harrell and Forrest Ramsey; and brother, Victor Hodge.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2016, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hodge officiating and Honorary Minister, Freddie Chandler. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home and proceed to Hopewell Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
