Mr. Larry Doyle Vance, 74, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021, at his residence. He was born March 18, 1946, in Carroll County to Doyle Cleveland and Eva Dale Owens Vance. Larry was a graduate of John Rundle High School and attended Mississippi State University where he played on the football team. Larry always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyed many years being self-employed in the automobile, camper, and furniture business. He was a devoted Mississippi State Football Fan and also enjoyed racing.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021, at the Woodlawn Memorial Park with Bro. Randy Kirk officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Diann Chambley Vance; one daughter, Kimberly Bowman(Matthew) of Brandon; two sons, Tommy Vance(Marsha) of Brandon and Bryan Vance Vance of Grenada; two brothers, Glen Vance of Wichita, KS and Danny Vance of Coffeeville; six grandchildren, Erin Vickers(James), Austin Vance, Logan Vance, Kaitlyn Vance, Audrey Williamson, and Ashley Bowman; two great-grandchildren, Katherine Vickers and Taylor Vickers and his beloved dog, Casey Jones Vance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steve Vance.
Pallbearers will be Brian Barton, Matt Chambley, Jimmy Hester, Scooter Shields, Austin Vance, and Logan Vance.
