Private services will be held at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Tim Pruitt and Rev. Timothy Pruitt II officiating. Entombment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Sunday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (the family will not be attending).
Mr. Jenkins was born June 3, 1956 in Wilkes County to Lester Alonzo and Virginia Dare Wingler Jenkins. He was a member of Journey of Grace Church. He retired from Tyson Foods as a Certified Welder.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters; Robinette Jenkins, Brenda Jenkins and Linda Jenkins and one brother; Terry Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Brown Jenkins of the home, two sons; Keith Jenkins and wife Emily and Jeremy Jenkins and wife Misty all of North Wilkesboro, six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Trevor, Reagan, Addison, Konnor and Natalie Jenkins.
