Katherine Adams Harris, 93, died Friday, January 1, 2021. Born in Charlotte County, VA, Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Ralph Clay and Eva Milam Adams, wife of the late George Edwin Harris, mother of the late Gary Harris and sister of the late Peggy Adams Bowman.
Mrs. Harris retired from Collins & Aikman Corp. and North American Parachute. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Georgia Harris Wilkins (Sam) of St. Jacob, IL; daughter-in-law, Patsy Harris of South Boston, VA; four grandchildren: Robin Wilkins May, Dan Wilkins (Jessica), Brandy Harris Oakley and Michael Harris (Jamey); five great-grandchildren: Eric Oakley (Jerica), Devin Wilkins, Dax Wilkins, Emma Dalton and Charleston Harris; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and dear friends William and Christine Griffin.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, January 4, 2021, at Brooks & White Chapel by the Rev. Dennis McDonald. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Monday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home prior to the service.
