ROCHELLE — David T. Willis, 70, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at Generations at Neighbors in Byron.
Dave was born on July 21, 1950, in Selma, Alabama, to Oscar and Mary Jo (Capatina) Willis. On Sept. 25, 1987, he married Jane Gasmund in DeKalb.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Willis and a brother-in-law, Dale Cranmore.
Dave is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jane; three children, Michael L. Willis, Bryan A. Willis and Jody T. Willis; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Donna L. Banta and Teri Lynn (James) Patterson and four sisters, Barbara (Rick) Blackerby, Janice (David) Scott, Brenda Cranmore and Teresa (Tommy) Gaylor.
Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
