Jerry “Curtis” Carter, age 20 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Knight Cemetery with Bro. Tay Joslin officiating.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home.
Curtis entered this life on April 12, 2000 in Nashville, TN, son to Jerry Lee Carter and Patricia Jernigan. Curtis was a member of Erin Church of Christ, was a logger by trade, and had a passion for fishing. He was very much loved by his family and friends and he will greatly be missed.
Curtis was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Otho and Sue Carter. Curtis leaves behind his loving parents, Jerry Lee Carter (Tami Burlison), Patricia Seiber; sister, Tiffany Carter; grandparents, Malcolm and Penny Jernigan; uncles, Eric (Amy) Jernigan and Jackie (Shawn) Carter; nieces and nephews, Brenna, Carter, Braxton, and Bella.
Serving as pallbearers will be Colten Jernigan, Charlie Jernigan, Nick Lemons, Drew Crook, Justin Godsey, Drake Cathey, Matt Ray and Stan Settles.
