Kathleen Amelia Rex - Suddenly of heart failure on Tuesday, July 10, 2006, at Kensington Gardens Nursing Home, Toronto. Kay Rex, a longtime journalist with the Canadian Press, the CBC, and The Globe and Mail. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Kay was born in Woodstock, Ontario on September 21, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Lionel and Grace Rex. She is survived by her brother Kenneth L. Rex of Toronto. A memorial service will be held at the MORLEY BEDFORD FUNERAL HOME, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stop lights west of Yonge St.) on Wednesday, July 19th at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to LOFT Community Services, 205 Richmond St. West, Suite 301, Toronto, would be appreciated.
