Roy entered into this life on November 22, 1948 to Roy E. and Lois Mae Carpenter Jackson in Maryville, TN. Roy belonged to Masonic Lodge #747 and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Jackson; brother, James Andrew Jackson.
Other than his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Helen Lively Jackson; son, Gary Jackson; daughters, Catherine Thomas and Connie (Richard) Laws; grandchildren, Melissa Jackson, Bradley Jackson, Tiarra Thomas, and Alisa Dansler; sister, Patricia Reed; four great-grandchildren; and niece, Erica Reed.
